BACK TO POEMS

Left fang pushing through a drawn lip corner

Spiky-tongue-licked, glossy fur

from a Chaplin movie, with the moustache

facing skywards, her defenceless pink pads

pushing me away in her dreams

Tail a-twitching, snore bewitching

Curled into a comma, heavy breathing

probably dreaming of lizards to chase.
